Route Reflect or Confederate?

I manage a 50 node Juniper Service Provider WAN with full layer 2 connectivity between all sites (single WAN /24). There is a full IBGP mesh. That's 1225 IBGP peerings.

In my situation, is there a benefit to using route reflectors or confederations? Is there a magic IBGP number that justifies and provides benefit to "breaking up" the full IBGP peering mesh? Is 1225 IBGP peering concerning?
